Founder of Holistic Expression and Consultation Services
Holistic Expression and Consultation Services was founded in 2020 in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The founder experienced first hand how challenging it was to find a telehealth therapist who looked like her and could support her during a challenging time. The founder acknowledged that others were experiencing the same and decided to create Holistic Expression and Consultation Services, PLLC. The founder also wanted to offer opportunities for LPC residents to grow and hone skills. Combining the love of mental and medical health, Holistic Expression aims to support the whole person by acknowledging the interaction of mind and body and offering healing in a myriad of ways. Although a primarily telehealth practice today, Holistic Expression and Consultation Services will expand to a luxury health focused environment for individual and community growth in the upcoming years. Stay tuned!

I have the unique ability to make any space feel safe for those in need. I work best with individuals 17 or older that are experiencing depression or anxiety. These health issues can make big life changes, decisions, navigation of school/career, social/communication deficits, loneliness, and interpersonal conflicts too much to handle alone. I would love to assist you with getting through your days in a healthier and more manageable way.
I use client centered approaches that allow you to remain in control of your individual therapy treatment. Through thought and behavior change strategies we will reduce your less helpful thought and behavior patterns and increase your ability to feel joy, make confident decisions and care for yourself.
I’m currently accepting the following insurances: Tricare, Molina, Optima, United/Optum, Anthem/BlueCross/Healthkeepers, Medicaid.
I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, and my primary focus is assisting adults and individuals aged 17 and above in recognizing and addressing their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to enhance their mental well-being. Many of the individuals I work with have faced challenging childhoods and struggle with decision-making and establishing appropriate boundaries. Some may feel uncertain about their core identity, and life may appear chaotic and overwhelming at times. Together, let's navigate through these challenges.
During our sessions, we might delve into topics such as attachment styles, coping mechanisms for daily stressors, relational trauma, as well as explore passions and life purposes. Our exploration typically includes examining the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, utilizing EMDR, psychoeducation, verbal processing, writing, and interventions that focus on emotions to facilitate self-discovery and find solutions to the challenges at hand.
I am currently open to both insurance and self-pay clients.

Through evidence-based techniques and a person-centered approach, I help children and adolescents explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills.
My areas of focus include managing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, self-esteem, and life transitions, as well as family and peer relationship challenges.
