HOLISTIC EXPRESSION AND CONSULTATION SERVICES
Chrishona Henry, LPC, RN
Founder of Holistic Expression and Consultation Services
Holistic Expression and Consultation Services was founded in 2020 in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The founder experienced first hand how challenging it was to find a telehealth therapist who looked like her and could support her during a challenging time. The founder acknowledged that others were experiencing the same and decided to create Holistic Expression and Consultation Services, PLLC. The founder also wanted to offer opportunities for LPC residents to grow and hone skills. Combining the love of mental and medical health, Holistic Expression aims to support the whole person by acknowledging the interaction of mind and body and offering healing in a myriad of ways. Although a primarily telehealth practice today, Holistic Expression and Consultation Services will expand to a luxury health focused environment for individual and community growth in the upcoming years. Stay tuned!

MEET OUR CLINICIANS
Chrishona Henry, LPC, RN
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Nurse practicing in Virginia, I encourage open and authentic communication in our sessions. Specializing in working with adults, my areas of focus encompass reprocessing trauma, navigating anxiety, overcoming depressive episodes, managing chronic pain, and addressing existential challenges that naturally unfold in life's journey.
I may incorporate somatic interventions such as EMDR alongside traditional talk therapy. Our sessions prioritize the comprehensive well-being of individuals, addressing aspects like mental, physical, spiritual, social, and financial health. With a keen interest in holistic and community healing practices, I create a safe space where virtually no topic is off limits.
Camille Gregory, LSATP, LCAS
I hold the title of (LSATP) Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia and am also a licensed clinical addiction specialist in North Carolina.
While all clients are welcomed, the majority seeking my services are those aiming to recover from traumatic experiences, dealing with addiction, coping with domestic abuse or sexual assault, or requiring assistance in expressing anger healthily.
Employing trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and strength-based solution-focused approaches, I provide tailored and compassionate care.
By implementing strategies for thought and behavior change, we can work together to diminish unhelpful patterns, enhance your capacity for joy, make confident decisions, and foster self-care.
Currently, I accept Self-Pay, Loveland Vouchers, Medicaid, Aetna, United/Optum, and Anthem/Blue Cross. I am in the process of credentialing with Virginia insurances.
Brittany Holland, Resident in Counseling
I am currently a Resident in Counseling in Virginia, and my primary focus is assisting adults and individuals aged 17 and above in recognizing and addressing their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to enhance their mental well-being. Many of the individuals I work with have faced challenging childhoods and struggle with decision-making and establishing appropriate boundaries. Some may feel uncertain about their core identity, and life may appear chaotic and overwhelming at times. Together, let's navigate through these challenges.
During our sessions, we might delve into topics such as attachment styles, coping mechanisms for daily stressors, relational trauma, as well as explore passions and life purposes. Our exploration typically includes examining the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, utilizing psychoeducation, verbal processing, writing, and interventions that focus on emotions to facilitate self-discovery and find solutions to the challenges at hand.
I am currently open to both self-pay clients and those covered by specific insurances, including Aetna, Molina, Anthem/BlueCross/Healthkeepers, and Medicaid.
Maria "Maxi" Trent, Resident in Counseling
I am a Resident in Counseling in Virginia.
I have been working with people in their most vulnerable moments for over 25 years. Often people present with questions like: Why did this happen to me? What is wrong with me? Is it my fault?
I am passionate about helping people find their way out of darkness. Typically, my clients are adults that are struggling with mood disorders and/or addiction.
Utilizing a judgment free, intentional approach to change; I meet people where they are emotionally and mentally. I support finding balance and changing negative thoughts to more productive insights. We may create SMART goals, process trauma, role play and explore relationships with self and others in session.

I would love to assist you with getting through your days in a healthier and more manageable way.
